Activity 1.1: Analysis of the Current Legal Framework Related to the Transposition of IED and Connected Directives in the Field of Intensive Rearing of Poultry and Pigs
The aim of the activity is to identify the connections between the IE Directive and other Directives that specifically apply to the intensive rearing sector, recognizing the legal gaps that could potentially have a negative impact on the Directive’s implementation in Serbia. The analysis will include the results of previous projects or projects which are in progress, as well as documents prepared during the screening phase. Gap analysis will be the basis for making recommendations for changes to the existing legislation in order to comply with EU regulations and the implementation of IE Directive. This activity includes also preparation of a General Binding Rules for farms in Serbia which will be a part of a new Rulebook on application for farms.
